Holistic Therapy with Advanced Nutrient Therapy
Advanced nutrient therapy is a prescribed blend of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that mirror our internal chemistry.
Neurotransmitters are produced by the brain to communicate within the brain and the body. These neurotransmitters can help us feel better and feel good when functioning properly. To work effectively they need the proper supply of micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). These vitamins and minerals are required to facilitate communication within our body and thereby regulate our mood, sleep, behavior, and memory. Too much or too little of a nutrient can disrupt our chemical balance and affect mood, sleep, etc.
For example, too much calcium can lead to constipation or kidney stones. A deficiency in Vitamin D can lead to Depression, pain or immunological issues. Dr. Rumaldo will review possible biochemical abnormalities or nutrient deficiencies, in addition to psychotherapeutic concerns to help determine underlying difficulties. Specialized laboratory testing is ordered to assist in uncovering metabolic issues that may be affecting mood, focus, behavior, energy or sleep issues. Dr. Rumaldo and the mental health professionals at True Pursuit will create an individualized nutrient therapy program (customized blend of vitamins, minerals and amino acids) in therapeutic consideration to address your unique biochemical needs. A review of current medications and supplements is also considered and prescribed if indicated.
